OPUS CELLO, Cello Music for Cello Ensemble
Since 2013, Opus Cello is bringing new quality repertoire to cellists all over the world. This music is performed by cellists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Gautier Capuçon, Kian Soltani, Jian Wang, Jean- Guihen Queyras, Brannon Cho, Ivan Monighetti, Sol Gabetta, Liwei Qin, Young Song, Frans Helmerson, Arto Noras, Claudio Bohorquez, Bruno Philippe and by cello ensembles all around the world.
Counting on Blaise Déjardin’s support and Opus Cello’s arrangements has been key to the development of ICI’s Chamber Music program. Being able to access music intentionally arranged for cello ensembles gives our students a unique perspective on what is possible in cello arranging and writing.

We are so fortunate to have the shop and expertise of legendary violinmaker David Folland just down the road from us in Northfield, Minnesota.
