Student Recital I
Our students attend ICI from all over the world, and many of them will go on to have music careers. Having the experience of performing live and collaborating with a pianist is extremely important. The concerts are free and open to the public and create a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to become familiar with the cello repertoire.
We welcome audiences to engage with our students, especially if they are curious to learn more about the cello.

Founding member of the GRAMMY award-winning Catalyst Quartet, Cuban-American cellist Karlos Rodriguez is an avid soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, clinician, recording artist, writer, and administrator.

Technique & Notation Workshop: Kurt Baldwin
Kurt Baldwin is Professor of Cello at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a founding member of the Arianna String Quartet.
Masterclass: Matt Haimowitz, Professor of Cello University of Minnesota
This class is held in Christiansen Hall of Music CHM 233. This performance class will feature 4 of our students playing a variety of repertoire. Open to the public, all are welcome to observe.
